Dean and i drove up to Himeville on the weekend to shoot a wedding at the Reichenau Mission. Reichenau is enchanting and alluring, built in 1887 by German monks this Catholic Mission has managed to maintain much of its Gothic charm. While we were exploring the grounds, heavy rain clouds brewed up a thunder storm. Absolutely drenched Dean and i found shelter in Ayandas room. There was no lighting in his quarters other than the thick window lighting that lit his face and the wall behind him, where he had chalked on some of his drawings. Water dripped into a plastic bucket at Ayandas feet, as he told us he is helping to re-build the school on the grounds.
