Andrew and Leigh’s first kiss was the stroke of midnight in 2003 - the skater boy and the dancer hooked up.
9 years later they made their vows to each other at the incredible Hillhouse in the Natal Midlands. Leigh and Ando planned their wedding in less than 3 months and it was unbelievable to see all the creative detail, everywhere i looked felt like a visual party for me. Leigh and Ando wanted an intimate day, where their family and friends, including kids, could celebrate with them. They wanted a small ceremony and a big long lazy help-your-self-lunch. Write your name on a jam jar and use it to make your own cocktails, have fun at the photo booth, play some croquet, noughts and crosses or dominoes, or sit outside under the big tree sipping pimms and enjoying the surroundings. There was even a crafts table and a photograph hunt for the kids.

The incredible dress was made by Andrews talented brother Warren Morck and the fascinator, garter and bouquet by the lovely Leigh herself. The bouquet consisted of family brooches and the earrings belonged to her grandmother. The creative couples decor was eclectic, quirky with a dash of vintage and a whole bunch of gorgeous DIY by Leigh. Leigh told me “there was lots of ‘I’ in the decor, coz Ando really didn’t mind, as long as there weren’t too many doilies!”

Thank you for letting me be part of such a magic day, my prayer for you is that your marriage be as colourful as your wedding day.
